Swiss Alpine Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli (uncooked)
    2 c. precooked cubed ham
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Drain broccoli.
    Layer half of broccoli, ham and cheese in unbaked pie shell.
    Repeat second layer.
    Sprinkle top with onion.
    Set aside.
    Gradually stir milk into beaten eggs; add seasonings.
    Pour over mixture in pie shell. Bake 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and continue baking for 30 to 40 minutes.
