Ingredients

1 c. margarine (8 oz.)
1 1/4 c. flour (10 oz.)
2 eggs
1/3 c. sugar (3 oz.)
1 1/4 c. strawberry or raspberry preserves
1 c. sugar (1/2 lb.)
4 eggs
1 c. walnuts, chopped (8 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine oleo and flour.
Mix sugar with 2 eggs and beat into oleo mixture.
Spread on ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Spread preserves on dough. Combine 1 cup sugar with 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Fold in walnuts.
Pour over top of preserves and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes longer.
When cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
Cut into diamond shapes.
