Mary Turvey'S Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. soda (mix with flour)
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sour milk (to sour milk, add 1/2 tsp. vinegar)
3 crushed bananas
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Bake slow for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
Can divide evenly between 2 loaf pans and bake at 300\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes or until done.
