Banana Jam(Yields Approximately 18 Ounces) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. sliced bananas, very ripe
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Place bananas in large bowl or enameled pot.
    Add lemon juice and sugar.
    Allow to stand for about an hour.
    In a large enameled pot bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Continue to cook for about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Stir constantly to keep from sticking.
    Pour into sterilized jars.
