Snow Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely ground pecans
Preparation
    Sift cake flour and salt together.
    Set aside.
    Cream butter gradually; add granulated sugar and beat, creaming until light and fluffy.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Blend in dry ingredients.
    Stir in pecans.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheets 2-inches apart.
    Bake in 250\u00b0 oven until firm and ivory colored for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar. Let cool and roll in powdered sugar again.
    Makes about 3 dozen cookies and they are delicious.
