Lakeview Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 gal. green tomatoes
    3 qt. onions
    3 qt. bell pepper
    1 pt. hot peppers
    3/4 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes in quarters and pour salt over them and let stand while preparing rest of ingredients.
    Slice onion rounds, bell peppers in eighths and hot peppers in rounds.
    Drain salt off tomatoes, add other ingredients and simmer all until tomatoes and peppers change colors.
    Pour into jars and seal or use either cold or hot-pack canning method.
