Sweet-Sour Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole green beans
    1 can wax beans
    1 can red kidney beans, washed
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Place the beans into a covered dish.
    Mix and pour over the beans the sugar, salt, vinegar and oil.
    Cover and let stand overnight or longer before serving.
    Thinly sliced onions and green pepper strips may be added to the mixture to stand overnight or may be added just before serving.
