Twenty Dollar Potatoes(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium to large potatoes, boiled and peeled
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. corn flakes
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Grate cooled, cooked potatoes into a bowl; set aside.
    Heat butter and soup in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
    Stir in onion, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Add to potatoes, mixing well.
    Spoon into baking dish.
    Top with a mixture of corn flakes and melted butter.
    Chill in refrigerator overnight.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 hour.
