No Yeast Christmas Bread(Julekake-I-Form) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk (may use sour or buttermilk)
1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1 c. mixed candied fruit
1/2 c. raisins
5 tsp. baking powder (if using buttermilk, add 1 tsp. baking powder)
1 tsp. cardamom
2 small eggs
Preparation

Mix flour and butter and crumble together until fine.
Add baking powder, cardamom, raisins and fruit.
Beat eggs and add to mixture.
Add sugar gradually.
Beat well.
Add milk.
Mix well. Combine remaining ingredients and mix.
Butter and flour well 2 loaf pans; fill with batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
