Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cocoa, heaping
    1 oz. red food coloring
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and oil.
    Add eggs beating well.
    Add vinegar and food coloring to sugar mixture.
    Set aside.
    Sift together all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
    Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately to sugar mixture, mixing well after each.
    Add vanilla.
    Place in 3 (9-inch) cake pans that have been greased and floured.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
