Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Generously grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
    Melt butter and add the brown sugar.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds or until well blended.
    Cool and add the egg.
    Combine the flour, baking powder and salt to the mix.
    Stir in the vanilla and walnuts.
    Then spread them in the pan.
    Bake for 25 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
