Cheese Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. bacon (optional)
    1 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
    10 oz. frozen peas
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 green onions, chopped (1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. sweet pickle relish
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 head lettuce, torn (about 3 c.)
Preparation
    Cook macaroni.
    Rinse frozen peas.
    Mix all ingredients except lettuce and bacon.
    Cover and refrigerate an hour or so.
    Before serving, mix in lettuce and bacon.
    Makes a lot.
