Mother'S Vegetable Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped raw potatoes
    1 c. chopped raw carrots
    1 c. chopped raisins
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add vanilla and egg and beat well. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
    Fold in raisins.
    Fill greased custard cups or muffin tins 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve warm with the orange sauce below.
