Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    Stir sugar over low heat until melted and golden brown.
    Stir in carefully water and brown sugar. Cook to 238\u00b0 or until a little dropped into cold water forms a soft ball.
    Pour over popped corn. Mix gently to coat well.
    Spread out on wax paper to cool so pieces separate.
    Can add any kind of nut if desired.
