Savory Green Beans With Croutons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. green beans, broken into 1-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. plain toasted croutons
    1 tsp. minced scallion or onion
    1 tsp. summer savory leaves (1/2 tsp. dried)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Cook beans 7 minutes until just tender.
    Place in colander and run cold water through them.
    Saute croutons in butter and add seasonings and beans.
    Mix and heat through.
    Serves 4.
