Savory Boiled Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 green pepper
    2 packets individual serving size beef broth mix
    2 packets individual serving size onion mix
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 c. water
Preparation
    Wash mushrooms.
    In a large saucepan, prepare broth by mixing water with the 4 packets mix.
    Cut green pepper into moderately large pieces and drop into broth.
    Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
    Cook over medium heat until mushrooms are tender. Thicken broth with cornstarch mixed with a small amount of cold water.
    Good as a side dish with beef.
