Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 large can or jar taco sauce
1 can pinto beans
1 can tomato soup
slices of cheese
Preparation
-
Cook rice.
Brown beef and onion in shortening.
Remove from heat and add taco sauce, beans and cooked rice.
Mix well. Transfer to baking dish and cover with slices of cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese melts.
