Dilled Potato Salad With Wurst - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large potatoes
4 slices bacon, cut up
1/2 c. chopped dill pickles
3/4 c. dill pickle liquid
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 lb. knockwurst or hot dogs
1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cut boiled potatoes into thick slices.
In skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon.
Add celery, onion and pickles.
Cook, stirring, until tender (3 to 5 minutes).
Stir in potatoes, knockwurst, pickle liquid, sugar, caraway seed, mustard and salt. Cover and cook over low heat, turning potatoes occasionally, until tender (10 minutes).
Knockwurst may be cooked separately.
Serves 4.
