Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients, cutting in shortening.
Add mashed potatoes.
Add enough milk to make firm dough, but not too stiff. Roll out on floured board, then cut with biscuit cutter.
Place in greased biscuit pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until browned.
Yields 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
