Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 stick butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Cream butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
    Add oatmeal mixture, after mixing all other ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Cool cake 15 minutes.
