Peas And Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unpared medium cucumber
    2 lb. fresh green peas, shelled
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    paprika
Preparation
    Cut cucumber lengthwise in fourths, then crisscross into 1-inch pieces.
    Bring cucumber, peas and water to boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer until peas are tender (about 10 minutes). Drain.
    Stir in lettuce, margarine, sugar, salt and pepper; heat until lettuce is hot.
    Mix sour cream and lemon juice; toss with vegetables.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
