Italian Style Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
    1 lb. Italian hot sausage
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 (13 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 to 2 tsp. ground thyme
    1 to 2 tsp. ground sage
    1 Tbsp. basil leaves
    dash of red pepper (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain fat.
    Add next 3 ingredients and onion. Mix well.
    Add all spices.
    If sauce is too dry, add water or more tomato sauce.
    Let simmer while preparing the cheese mixture and noodles.
