Mock Ravioli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    3 tsp. salad oil
    2 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 can Las Palmas
    1 can tomato paste
    2 1/4 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped cooked spinach
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1 c. fine soft bread crumbs
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp. sage
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 lb. butterfly or shell macaroni, cooked in salt water until tender
Preparation
    Mix all
    ingredients, except macaroni, together.
    Place layers of macaroni
    in greased baking dish.
    Top with layer of spinach mixture; repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with meat layer.

    for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
