Martha Washington Buttercreams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    pinch of salt
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 Tbsp. paraffin
Preparation
    Cream butter, sift confectioners sugar and beat into butter until light.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Store in refrigerator for 12 hours.
    Shape into desired forms, adding nut meats, Brazil nuts or crystallized fruits, if desired.
    Dip candy in the chocolate and paraffin which have been melted together over boiling water. After dipping creams into chocolate, set on buttered platter to harden.
