Pork Chop Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. shortening
    4 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    4 small potatoes, peeled and quartered
    4 medium carrots, peeled and cut up
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Heat oil in a 4-quart pressure cooker.
    Season pork chops with salt and pepper; brown on both sides in hot shortening.
    Add broth.
    Place vegetables on top of pork chops.
    Add soup over top. Close cover securely.
    Cook 10 minutes at 15 pounds of pressure. Cool quickly under cold running water.
    Remove chops and vegetables to a serving platter.
    Blend flour and 1/4 cup cold water.
    Add to juices in pan.
    Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
    Serve with chops and vegetables.
