"Red Lobster" Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    melted butter
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    6 to 8 Tbsp. butter flavor shortening
    about 1 c. milk
    garlic powder or garlic salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, cayenne pepper and mustard in a large bowl.
    Cut in shortening and fold in cheese.
    Add enough milk to make a batter stiff enough to drop.
    Drop biscuits on a greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder or garlic salt.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
