Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg
    6 or 7 large apples
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Add slightly beaten egg and make crumbs.
    Cover bottom of buttered Pyrex casserole with thinly sliced apples and spread with crumb mixture.
    Melt butter and sprinkle over it.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Peaches, cherries or any fruit can be substituted.
    Serves 6.
