Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 slices bacon
    3 diced onions
    2 1/2 c. water
    4 diced potatoes
    1 pt. milk
    3 c. frozen or canned corn
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Tabasco
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Fry bacon and reserve fat.
    Add onions to fat and saute.
    Add water and potatoes; boil slowly 20 minutes.
    Add milk and corn. Simmer 15 minutes more.
    Stir in pepper, salt and Tabasco.\tCrumble bacon and add with sour cream.
    Simmer (do not boil) 5 minutes more.
    Garnish with parsley or paprika.
    Serves 4 to 6.
