Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 small can Pet milk
    approximately 1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 stick unsalted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour water over raisins just to cover.
    Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
    While raisins are cooking, measure sugar, cornstarch and salt in small bowl.
    Drain raisins.
    Keep the juice and add Pet milk and regular milk (enough to make 3 cups).
    Add milk mixture to dry ingredients to raisins.
    Stir until smooth, then cook on medium heat to a soft boil.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Add slightly beaten egg yolks, stirring constantly.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Let cool to room temperature.
    Pour into unbaked pie crust.
    Make strips for the top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
