Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 c. shortening or Crisco
6 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. soda
4 tsp. cream of tartar
7 c. flour
2 or 3 pkg. chocolate chips
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
Preparation

Mix ingredients well in order given.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes (don't overbake).
If desired, you may add chopped nuts to the mixture.
