Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, shredded
    1 (6 oz.) box stuffing mix (chicken flavor)
    1 pt. half and half
Preparation
    Clean mushrooms.
    If small, leave whole.
    If large, cut in half.
    Place mushrooms in 5-quart Dutch oven with butter and onion.
    Cover and cook over low heat for about 1/2 hour until tender and mushrooms have made their own juice.
