Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 large egg
1 pkg. coconut Treasures, coarsely chopped
1 (7.5 oz.) jar Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
Beat brown sugar, butter, Crisco, sugar and vanilla until combined.
Add egg; beat until creamy.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Gently stir in Treasures and nuts.
Drop by heaping tablespoon 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on cookie sheets 2 minutes and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen large cookies.
