Ice Cream Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. lard
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cream
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. soda
    4 or 5 c. flour
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Bring 1
    gallon
    of
    milk to boiling point, stirring frequently. Remove from
    heat
    and
    cool
    quickly,
    also stirring frequently.
    When lukewarm, blend in
    1
    container
    of
    Dannon plain yogurt and 1 cup dry milk.
    Pour into
    gallon
    or
    quart jars
    and
    place in oven at lowest temperature.
    Allow about
    3 hours or until a knife inserted in yogurt separates it.
    Cool completely and beat lightly with egg beater.
    Serve with any desired flavor of fruit.
