Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in large skillet; add sugar and beat eggs.
Add chopped dates.
Cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Stir occasionally. Add nuts and vanilla.
Cool slightly.
Pour this mixture over Rice Krispies and mix.
Set aside to cool just enough to handle. Roll into balls and roll into coconut.
