Pie Crust(Old German Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. ice water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. lard, softened
Preparation

In a small bowl, mix ice water, vinegar, egg and brown sugar. Keep in refrigerator.
In large bowl, sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Add softened lard.
Work with fingers or blender.
If mixture seems wet or sticky, an additional half cup of flour can be added.
Make a well.
Add ice water mixture and blend lightly. Turn dough out on floured board.
