Coconut Orange Jumbles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. shredded coconut
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. orange juice
    3 Tbsp. grated orange rind
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs.
    Beat in coconut. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together and add alternately with orange juice to cream mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    Drop by teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet.
    Sprinkle with additional coconut and orange peel.
    Bake in hot oven, 425\u00b0, for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Yields 4 dozen.
