Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted oleo or butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. sour cream or 1 each: cream and yogurt
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed and mixed with 1/2 c. melted oleo
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients, except corn flakes mixture.
    Sprinkle buttered corn flakes on top.
    Use a 3-quart casserole or large flat glass baking dish.
    Bake for one hour.
    Serves 10 to 12.
