Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. soda dissolved in 1 1/2 tsp. milk
4 Tbsp. whiskey
1 lb. nuts
1 lb. cherries
1 lb. pineapple
1 lb. pecans
Preparation

Sift 1 cup flour over the fruit; cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, milk and whiskey.
Mix in fruit and nuts.
Drop small bits (about 1/2 teaspoon) on cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes many; keeps well in tin or covered container.
