1 1/4 c. milk
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
butter (for greasing)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, almonds, extract and brown sugar in food processor.
Pulse 5 to 10 seconds at a time, stopping to scrape sides of bowl until mixture is blended but not overprocessed.
Pour batter into a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish or pie plate.
Bake 30 minutes until fluffy and brown.
A knife will come out clean.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and cool slightly before serving.
