Louise'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter, softened
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Grease and flour tube pan or bundt pan. beat sugar, butter and crisco until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating after each one. Add lemon and vanilla. Add milk and flour alternately, beating after each addition ending with flour. Bake one hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes before inverting.
