Clam Chowder(Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. minced pepper
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    2 small cans tomato juice
    1 tsp. ground sage leaves
    1/2 tsp. ground thyme leaves
    1/2 to 1/4 tsp. black ground pepper
    less than 1/16 tsp. ground cayenne pepper (I use a pinch)
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    2 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    2 c. boiling water
    2 or 3 (7 oz.) cans minced clams with liquid
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery and green pepper in oleo or butter.
    Add potatoes, boiling water and salt; cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    (I add some diced carrots for color.)
    Heat to boiling point serve.
