Anna'S Beet Soup(To My Mother) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 5 medium beets (the darker, the better)
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. lemon concentrate
Preparation
    Peel 3 to 5 medium beets, cover with water and add 1/2 tablespoon salt.
    Boil on medium heat until tender (easily poked with fork).
    Remove beets from soup, cut into cubes.
    Add cubes and sliced beet leaves to the soup and boil until leaves lose green color.
    Remove from heat.
    At room temperature, add 2 teaspoons lemon concentrate.
    Chill.
