Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
6 c. milk, scalded
Preparation

Beat eggs well, then add sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg.
Add scalded milk, a little at a time, beating fast.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 28 to 30 minutes.
Pie is done when knife comes out clean.
Makes 2 large or 4 small pies.
