Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box Betty Crocker German chocolate cake mix
5 oz. can evaporated milk
14 oz. caramels
6 oz. Nestle chocolate chip morsels
1 c. coconut flakes
1 c. pecans or walnuts
2/3 c. margarine, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine 1 ounce of milk, margarine and cake mix in bowl; mix well.
Spread 1/2 of the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan and bake for 6 minutes.
Melt caramels and remaining milk in saucepan over low/medium heat.
Layer chocolate chips, coconut flakes and nuts, then drizzle caramel over the top of baked 1/2 of cake mixture.
Spread remaining 1/2 of mixture over the top and bake for 17 to 22 minutes.
(Practice has shown 18 minutes makes a perfect brownie.)
