Butter Tarts - cooking recipe

pastry for double crust 9-inch pie
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. currants or chopped raisins
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Line 24 medium tart tins with pastry. Beat eggs slightly, then beat in sugar, corn syrup, vinegar, vanilla and butter.
Stir in fruit and nuts.
Fill tart shells two-thirds full with mixture; cook about 20 minutes or until set. Cool for a few minutes in pans, then lift out and cool on racks.
