Butterscotch Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 2/3 c. milk
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. flour
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. Gradually stir in water and milk. Add butter.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and boils.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat. Stir at least half of hot mixture into eggs slowly, then blend with rest of mixture in saucepan.
    Boil 1 minute more, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
