Silver White Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flavoring
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
4 egg whites
nuts (optional)
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add shortening, 2/3 cup milk and flavoring.
Beat well.
Add rest of milk and stiffly beaten egg whites.
Beat well.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
