Sand Tarts(The Christmas Cookie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
4 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
7 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.
Cream butter and beat in sugar.
Add beaten eggs alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Form into rolls.
Chill or freeze.
Slice very thin with wet knife.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (and colored sprinkles if desired).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.
