Vegetable Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Shoe Peg corn
    1 can LeSeuer peas
    1 can French-style green beans
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 jar pimentos
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 to 1 c. oil (Mazola or olive)
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water, vinegar, salt, pepper and oil for 5 minutes.
    Pour over vegetables, onions and pimentos.
    Place overnight in the refrigerator.
