Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

1 tsp. salt
1 can chicken soup
1 8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 12 oz. pkg. grated American cheese
1 32 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/4 c. melted butter
2 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation

Place potatoes in 9 x 13 casserole dish. Mix next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes. Mix corn flakes and 1/4 c. butter and pour on top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
